Michael Münzing was the main DJ at “Großer Club” in 1983/1984 at Germany’s legendary Discotheque “Dorian Gray” (Frankfurt Airport 1978-2000).
Together with his producer partner Luca Anzilotti, he was responsible for dance music milestones like Snap! “I’ve Got The Power” and “Rhythm Is A Dancer”.
The video shows images of him and Luca Anzilotti in the 80s and 90s, as well as TV interviews and video scenes from their own video production department.
The music is a mashup of “Rhythm Is A Dancer” and Newcleus “Auto Man”, which was used by Michael Münzing as a DJ at Dorian Gray and also as melodic inspiration for the Snap! hit.
Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti also became famous for their labels/video production companies Logic Records, Eye Of The Storm and Inmotion.
The spirit of Michael Münzing’s DJ sets at Dorian Gray lives on at Dorian Lounge (Airport Club / Frankfurt).
