Module 5 covers Reading Comprehension. This section gives 30 minutes to answer 20 questions. The purpose of this section is to see how well you can understand a topic as well as the critical details from a paragraph. Just like if you were to receive a mission order, you should be able to read and understand what the mission is and the who, what, where, when, & why questions. Looking at the practice test, question 4 asked what you can infer from the paragraph. Ultimately A sounds the most reasonable and best sums up the paragraph because it is specific and applies to the main topic. Other questions in this section ask you to infer word meanings based on paragraph samples. You may also have to draw conclusions and determine cause and effect for questions. Practice these as much as possible to get the best score.

Module 6 addresses Math Skills. You'll have 40 minutes to answer a Variable amount of questions. No calculator is allowed so knock off the rust on your paper math skills. There is no set number of questions because the section tends to repeat areas you are weak on to properly determine where you stand. This sections covers everything from integers, decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponents, factors, fractions, percentages, algebraic functions, linear equations, word problems, geometry, pythagorean theorem, and more. Too many to outline each in this video. But don't let this section discourage you. Get the study guides and practice, practice, practice.

Module 7 is the final module that covers Mechanical Comprehension. You'll have 15 minutes to answer a Variable amount of questions. Much like the last section, there is no set number of questions but the test will keep giving questions to get an adequate assessment of your skills. The goal of this section is to see how well you can predict what will happen in a mechanical system. The first few questions in this test bank ask you to judge distances and times by converting information given. You'll see this section also has diagrams asking you to interpret velocities and angular velocities. The section also focuses on springs, gears, pulleys, Newton's laws of motion, hydraulics, changes to volume, and more. Get the study guides and practice the different types of questions.

The test generally takes 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. For scoring, the Army hasn't disclosed how it weighs each sections but outlines the range of scores. The test is meant to be compensatory in that if you do well in 1 section it can compensate for lower scores in other sections. That said the scores range from 20 to 80 points. Minimum passing is 40. The average is 50. No score guarantees you'll get accepted into flight school. But the selection board weighs everything and so the higher the score, the better your odds. Based on scores submitted by viewers of this channel, scores in the 60's range seem to have a high pickup rate for selection.
