Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the 3" Square Post Mount 4 LED Strobe Light with the Clear Lens and the Amber LEDs. Now, this strobe light is in a black aluminum housing. It's rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. Common use for this light is pickup trucks, work trucks or trailers. Does use the bright energy-saving LED power, and LEDs would make a great replacement for incandescent lights. They last about 50 times longer, and they're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and of course, no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to break.Now the base, it's a black powder coat aluminum base.

Gives you superior heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. Has the clear lens, and then 4 amber LEDs. It is a 12-millimeter stud mount design, and it comes with the stainless steel mounting hardware. Now, this light does offer 19 flash patterns and simultaneous or alternating function. You can see the wiring on it.

It's a blunt cut wiring connection. Length of the wire lead is about 48". Now there are four wires coming out of here. There's your black wire which is your ground, red which is your power, the yellow which is your synchronization and flash patterns, and then the white would be if you hook it up to the power, and then it'll give you a steady light. We're going to hook this up to some 12-volt power at the end of the video just to show you, and I'll talk about what those wires mean.There is four LEDs in this.

The voltage is 12 to 24 volts. Amperage is .55 amps at 12 volts. Few dimensions on this light. It is a square design. Overall width is 2-7/8", height of it is also 2-7/8", and the total depth on it is only 1" deep.

What we're going to do now is hook this up to our 12-volt power, so we'll take our black wire which is the ground, go ahead and hook that up. Red wire which is our 12-volt power, we'll hook that up, and then we're going to turn it on with just those two connected, and it'll show you how bright the light are and then the flash pattern.Now the other two wires we talked about, the yellow and the white, the yellow wire is the synchronization and flash pattern, so what I'm going to do is once I have the light showing I'll touch the power wire with this yellow wire and it will change the flash pattern, so each time you touch it it will reset the flash pattern, and that's how you choose your 19 different flash patterns. It is also used for synchronization. In other words, if you have multiples of these lights on your vehicle and you want to make them all flash at the same synchronization you just wire the yellow wires for all the lights together. And the white wire, the white wire I'm going to hook that to power, and you'll see, it'll just give you steady light then, just a regular light, no strobe to it.We're going to first turn it on here. 12-volt power with just the red and the black connected, and you can see there's your light, how bright it is, and the strobe, it's flashing on right now. Again, if I take this yellow wire and go ahead and touch it, you can see that it changed the pattern, and if I touch it one more time it changes it again, and again, there's 19 different ones to choose from. There's another different one.Now what I'm going to show you is that when you take the white wire and touch it to the power wire, and it'll give you just a straight steady light, there's no strobing involved. Here we'll move it, it goes back to the strobe, so that's the difference in the color wires. We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, go ahead and turn off our power.
