The teams were fairly evenly matched, both offensively and defensively. Each side turned impressive double plays and were attentive, on both sides of the base paths.

The Ukrainian's pulled off the double steal and caught one in a pickle, while Greece managed to steal a bag of their own. Greece hit .276 to Ukraine's .286, but it was Ukraine's hurler and 3B Denys Brechko who pulled off some unexpected defensive plays to keep the W.
