Quality Awards 2020: PITStop

Описание: Another fabulous staff led improvement initiative that received an award at Mercy’s 2020 Quality Awards was PITStop – a protected pause during the transition of patient care from theatre to the post anaesthetic care unit (PACU).

Judges commended this project for its comprehensive understanding of quality improvement processes, and for ensuring safer handover in the theatre to PACU environment.
