Skirt Alterations. How to taper a flare skirt?

Описание: Hello Everyone, in this video I would like to share my experience of doing alterations on the skirt.
At the fitting the customer wasn’t happy with this skirt because the side seam at hip line was wide and at the bottoms of the skirts was sticking out and too pointy.
A client wasn’t happy with design of the skirt
I have to do a proper alterations.
During the fitting I pinned the front skirt side seam more than back side seam.
So It means that the skirt not only wrong with style, but also wrong with pattern.
Why possible it is wrong with a style?
First the fabric very stiff for wide A-line or flare design type of skirt.
Maybe, it would work with different fabrics, but not with stiff, crisp, leathery, crusty, thick wool fabric like this.
But for this type of fabric, the best style will be small Aline style, or with 4 panel style skirt..
