"The Otaking": A Parody of "Part of Your World" ~ Kasidy92

Описание: I've been waiting a LONG time to show this off (actually, wrote it a week ago, but that's a long time for me! XD). This is "The Otaking", a parody of "Part of Your World". The title is a reference to Otaku no Video, an OVA about the start of Gainax... kinda.

It was made for a VH competion. This week's round was Parodies. I'm not sure how, but I managed to poop this out really quick and easily. If you don't recognize any or most of the references, that's probably a good thing XD Anyone who's familiar with me knows I love anime, cosplaying, role playing games, abridged series, creating stories, attending conventions, and internet parodies and critiques of all the above... or at least knows about one of those. So I put all those in the parody :3

The picture is a wallpaper I found on google of Ohno from the manga and anime Genshiken, my absolute favorite manga. She's a cosplayer and fujoshi and I often find myself relating to her the most. In fact, I recommend that anyone who considers themselves an otaku should check the manga out! It is a fun little gem that really speaks to the culture and ways of all types of otaku.
