Описание: Nickel and copper are soaring on the COMEX! These metals are very important for future industrial use such as battery technology for cars, cell phones and many future power conductive applications. If you collect these coins, I feel they will be in short supply and harder to get. I think 2022 may be a very low mintage year for the Jefferson Nickel. Just like in 1964, the cost to produce silver dimes, quarters, and half dollars became more expensive to make because the precious metal value exceeded the face value of the currency. Copper pennies that are 95% copper ceased production in 1982 by the U.S Mint. Both the Lincoln cent and Jefferson Nickel are worth more in their base metal than its denominational value.
