Oh Marcus, you poor thing. I cannot imagine experiencing what she experienced in Version 1.7/Chapter 6: E Lucevan Le Stelle, that feeling of causing bad things to happen and that struggle with confidence in general. I'm glad that Greta Hoffman was able to be that shining beacon for her though!

I remember limiting myself to 10 summons with Marcus, and while I didn't get her (which would have been insane luck given I had gotten VERY lucky with Isolde weeks prior), I had managed to get her eventually in 2.2 via luck, which I was thankful for as it was a freebie one! It would have been a shame if it was a dupe, but it wasn't, it's just a shame that I haven't used her a lot, please give her Euphoria!

From Romania, to the Flannan Isles, to Vienna, to the Foundation/Vertin's Suitcase, Marcus has had one hell of a journey, and I hope we get to see more of her one day! Whether it's something like an Anecdote, Event Story or possibly Main Story, I would be happy to see it, and I hope it won't be as traumatic as previous events for her. I also want to see her build her confidence even more somehow. You can hear in the voice lines throughout that Marcus is relatively unsure of herself and her abilities despite how impressive she is when it comes to reading and deciphering things, on top of her love for books.

Marcus is voiced by Kari Wong, who did great at capturing that unassuming, innocent aspect of her, and again, I really hope to hear more of Marcus, like maybe an Event Story which would still show off more of Marcus' VA which would be awesome imo! As for Garments, Marcus is holding her very own case in both Default and Insight II, which is probably difficult to carry I'd imagine, and in both looks, Marcus gives off this reserved look that goes hand in hand with her confidence issues.

The full art for Insight II is wonderful as well, as it looks like a nod to the Flannan Isles with the lighthouse towering behind Marcus, except it's in the night instead of day. Another notable difference, barring colour patterns is the choice of headwear, with the Newsboy Cap on default and a more regulari-sh blue cap on Insight II, and she doesn't have her dark blue coat or gloves on Insight II. While both looks do give off the reserved look, it does seem like Insight II is making tiny progress on that gain in confidence.

As for her Advanced Garment that arrived in 2.2: Tristes Tropiques (On The White Sand), it does seem like Marcus can finally relax after all that has happened, and she isn't holding onto that case anymore! Now she is wearing a giant beach hat fitting for the sunny occasion, and in her full art, she is laying in a relatively large hammock! It's a rather adorable garment overall, and I really hope that this isn't the only time Marcus can truly enjoy her relaxation!

And that is Marcus! Please please please give her Euphoria, I want her to be up there in terms of usage, and I hope that Euphoria does her justice! As for future Voice Line videos, An-An Lee, Medicine Pocket, Balloon Party, and more are to come, and I'm looking forward to getting more of these done!
