This is the first entry in the “Portraits & Moments” series: a video portrait born from a reunion.
At the turn of 2021 and 2022 in Shanghai, I met two university classmates. With no plan other than to see each other, I picked up my phone. This is what was captured: our meandering talks about life and work, the rhythmic sound of the subway, the long underground passageways, and glimpses of the city outside. There‘s no storyline, only the natural flow of conversation and observation—a “cinematic sense” that arises when you simply pay attention to people and their environment.
It’s a record of a specific moment in time, of friendships, and of Shanghai itself. A fragment of life, offered as it was lived.
这是“肖像与瞬间”系列的首个作品：一段源于重逢的视频肖像。
在2021年末、2022年初的上海，我与两位大学同学见面。没有特定计划，只是相聚，于是我拿起手机。记录下的便是这些：我们关于生活与工作的闲谈、地铁有节奏的呼啸声、长长的地下通道，以及窗外掠过的城市。没有剧情，只有对话与观察的自然流动——一种当你单纯地去关注人和环境时，便会涌现的“电影感”。
这是一份关于特定时刻、关于友情、也关于上海本身的记录。一段生活碎片，以其本来的样貌呈现。
