HYPOXiX Push-Up Level 2.1 progresses the movement from the wall to an incline surface, increasing load while maintaining breath-led control.
This level uses no breath retention, allowing you to focus on transferring the abdominal connection learned at the wall into a more demanding position. Gravity now plays a greater role, making the hard exhale essential for spinal support and core engagement.
In this practice, you will inhale through the nose and perform a long, forceful exhale as you press away from the incline. The exhale drives the movement, allowing the arms to work in coordination with the trunk rather than independently.
This level builds strength without impact, reinforces proper push-up mechanics, and prepares the body for deeper hypoxic challenges.
