Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders affecting children. Symptoms of ADHD include inattention (not being able to keep focus), hyperactivity (excess movement that is not fitting to the setting) and impulsivity (hasty acts that occur at the moment without thought). It was only in the 90s that researchers realized that ADHD can affect adults as well as children.

Most of the research that has been done on ADHD has been on males who show their ADHD symptoms far more externally than females, who tend to mask and internalize their symptoms more. We are now learning more about the signs of ADHD and ADHD symptoms in women.

ADHD is a very common disorder, but it's often misunderstood and difficult to diagnose. In this
video, I'll discuss some of the unique challenges female ADHD-ers face and how to
overcome them. I'll also discuss the strategies female ADHD-ers can use to manage their
disorder effectively.
