Описание: 🍕 ONE OF THE MOST COMMMON things I hear on the sidelines of grassroots football is coaches shouting, “Find space!” Or “Spread out”!

But most children don’t actually know what that means!

As adults, we hear “find space” and instantly understand it because we’ve played or watched football for years. But young children don’t have that same frame of reference.

You’re coaching children, not mini adults!

And kids require a completely different approach. You need to:

•⁠ ⁠Use age-appropriate language that makes sense to them.
•⁠ ⁠Bring concepts to life through storytelling.
•⁠ ⁠Create visuals and games that make learning fun and memorable.

In this example, I tried to find something that the children would relate to… Pizza!

On a pizza, you wouldn’t dump all the toppings on one slice, would you?

Coaching isn’t just about knowing football. It’s about understanding how children learn, meeting them at their level, and communicating in a way that truly connects.
