In India, at least three people were killed, and several others were reported missing in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, after heavy rain due to a cloudburst caused flash floods in the region. Mandi Municipal Commissioner Rohit Rathore said that the heavy rainfall caused debris from the upper areas to flow down and accumulate in the lower parts of the town. Reports from local administration confirm multiple landslides in and around Mandi town, disrupting traffic. Debris from these landslides has also blocked key internal highways, adding to the chaos.
