Abhijeet Dipke detained while heading to Connaught Place for Tiranga march. Police stop Dipke outside NCP-SCP spokesperson Anish Gawande’s residence. ‘I’m alone, what law did I break?’ Dipke questions cops. Officers cite Section 163 restrictions while placing Dipke under preventive detention. Police notice directs people not to visit Central Park. Second notice reminds Dipke of undertaking following earlier airport detention. Dipke, Ranka and Das previously appeared before court after preventive detention. Court directed CJP leaders to avoid public disturbance for one year. Dipke asserts peaceful demonstrations are a democratic right.
