This walk takes from the small Hertfordshire town of Buntingford across country to Hare Street and Great Hormead before heading up to the historic village of Anstey. Here I some fascinating pieces of history, some ancient some more recent. In Buntingford I visit the UK's oldest brick-built Anglican church, which has a remarkable brass plaque with the finest engraving you're ever likely to see.
