On average, a child must disclose their story thirteen times to thirteen different people if they are not seen at a CAC. This is why the Pueblo Child Advocacy Center is so critical for the youth and families of Southern Colorado. Founded in 1985, PCAC was only the sixth Advocacy Center in the nation, and the very first in Colorado. Through the work of their staff and the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), the CAC provides a safe-haven for the child & their family, to heal and to be a kid once again. This video is an example of what a child experiences when seen and not seen at a CAC.
