Citation Needed for You(Tube)? - How to not be a plagiarist

Описание: Let's talk about how to properly handle your sources, so you can not be exposed in a multi-hour video that severely damages your credibility. Or loses you points on your essays at school. It's applicable for both!

General thoughts
------------
I don't want it to seem like I'm saying a person's first offense should be met with the harshest penalty - especially in a learning environment like school. People need space to make mistakes, especially honest ones. However, I'd say there does need to be some form of negative outcome associated with cheating behaviors like plagiarism, because otherwise why would people bother to learn the correct way in doing things? Nudges towards ethical behavior are good.

Also, I do realize the futility of suggesting YouTube change the way their algorithm works. But I can't see the equation really changing until the platform reduces the incentive to churn out content.
