This is a movie from A24 studio that tells the story of an inspiring actor who struggles in a world that sees him differently than he would like to be.
As the story unfolds, it begins with Edward at a rehearsal; we learn that he suffers from a facial condition that causes him distress and isolation. His dream is to become an actor, but he faces a series of failures in this profession. Later, while on the subway he notices a lot of faces staring at him, which impacts his self-confidence and mental health.
