I've known Charlotte Pelgen for a few years, and she's one of my favourite people. I first came across her at one of her first gigs in the Bad Mouse Orchestra, but it wasn't until GNUF 2018 that we met in person. Since then throughout the uke festival circuit and even on my own travels last year, we have become close friends.
I had a trip planned to visit her in Freiburg and do a gig or two, but the world caught fire with a certain pandemic. Still through the power of the internet, we're able to duet this Cyndi Lauper song across the continent.
