Finnish PM Sanna Marin says she’s taken drug test following leaked “party” video

Описание: Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said Friday that she has taken a drug test after a video leaked to the public that shows her dancing and partying with friends.

Marin, 36, said her ability to perform her official duties remained unimpaired in her opinion despite her weekend partying, and that she would have left had she been required to work.

Marin, who became the world’s youngest serving government leader in December 2019, faced calls from her governing coalition and opposition members to take a drug test after the videos emerged.

“I consider these accusations to be very serious and, though I consider the demand for a drug test to be unjust, for my own legal protection and to clear up any doubts, I have taken a drug test today – the results of which will come in about a week,” she said.

A day earlier, Marin said she was disappointed that the “private” videos of her were released and said that she had only been drinking alcohol.
