Dublin Fire Brigade battle gorse fire

Описание: This video footage shows the efforts of Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) to tackle a gorse fire in the Dublin mountains last night.

Seven units of the brigade attended to the blaze which started at around 7pm in the Three Rock mountain area of south Dublin.

Now 7 pumps in Ticknock. Rain arranged by @MetEireann is moving in which should help with firefighting and preventing it spreading.

Smoke from the fire caused poor visibility on sections of the M50 and N11 roads while the fire brigade worked to extinguish the blaze.

An aerial support drone was also deployed to assist in the operation.
This was the second such gorse fire in the area in the past week.

Three units from the DFB attended the scene at the Lead Mines near Kilternan after a small fire quickly became an out-of-control one.
