Lansdowne is a beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand which is famous for its eco-friendly tourism revolving around mountaineering and trekking. It is situated at an altitude of 1,700 m (5,600 ft) above sea level, beautifully surrounded by blue pine forests in Pauri Garhwal District, Uttarakhand. The War Memorial, at the Parade Ground of the Garhwal Rifles Centre is an attraction for the visitors. Total distance from Delhi to Lansdowne is 260 Km and you can take train, bus or cab from Delhi to kotdwar.
