We put Beta’s flagship dual sport motorcycle—the 500 RR-S—on our in-house dyno to find out how much horsepower and torque it makes.
In the past, Beta was mostly known for its motorcycle trials bikes. However, the Italian manufacturer has shaken that notion by continually improving its off-road motorcycles and dual sport models over the years. Beta’s flagship street-legal dirt bike—the 500 RR-S—sits atop the displacement list in the RR-S lineup. We ran the 478cc four-stroke machine on our in-house dyno to determine peak output from it. We documented 47.0 hp at 8,100 rpm and 32.6 pound-feet of torque at 7,200 rpm.
