This short film tells the story of four children from Bangladesh who ended up living on the streets of Dhaka, the country's capital. They are now living in drop-in centres funded by Plan.
Currently 680,000 children are living on the streets in Bangladesh. The number is expected to rise to 1.1 million by 2014.
The International Day for Street Children is marked on 12th April to give a voice to some of the most disadvantaged and invisible children of this world. It aims to raise awareness and recognition of this worldwide issue and put pressure on policy makers to create an environment in which street children's rights are realised and their voices are heard.
