And the game delivered, with tense, frenetic gameplay mixed with daunting enemies and the fear of the unknown making you try your best to prepare for what's in the next room. The main theme of the game, which is mainly used for the early part of the game and Artaria, is the best at conveying the atmosphere of the game. With a simple, memorable three note motif that rings throughout each track, coupled with atmospheric ambience and electronic work, help set the mood perfectly without overdramatic instrumentation. Of course there are more intense moments, such the remixes for the temperature restoration and Corpius battle, but they help enhance the pre established tone the theme conveyed so well from the moment the title screen appeared.
