On the drive along the C14 between Welvis Bay and Solitaire the road traverses the Kuiseb Canyon. The canyon section of road, which is about 25km long, switches between gravel and paved sections as it dips up and down through rocky and sandy terrain. This drive, taken West to East was done in 2021.
