+MPU Glen Rose Brickyard's Community Give Back, "Share the Love" Event and Pig Roast

On Oct. 14, 2023, +MPU Glen Rose Brickyard Captain Katarina Young led a donation event to spread love and support to those in need as a community.
Katarina collected donations of household goods, clothes, and children’s toys. There were plates of smoked pig courtesy of her and her husband’s farm! 🐖 This event came together after Katarina hosted two coffee clubs. She and the attendees discussed ways to help and then sprung into action!
There were also two other events in the area, and people started popping in from both. The Somervell County Master Gardeners (https://txmg.org/somervell/), Natives from the @TheComancheNation coming together for their Intertribal Pow Wow, the local church with deep roots in the Hispanic community, and kids running all over. Several people were sitting at long picnic tables, eating and talking about life and +MPU. Others were listening to the drum circles and Native singers in their traditional attire by their intricate teepees.
