The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky

2. Best sequel you've read so far in 2022.
I prefer standalones.

3. New release you haven't read yet but want to.
Powers and Thrones by Dan Jones, The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah, All the Seas of the World by Guy Gavriel Kay

4. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year.
None bc I'm trying not to browse netgalley lol!

5. Biggest disappointment.
Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak or Letters and Papers from Prison by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

6. Biggest surprise.
1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. Also memoirs are like my new favorite thing. The Girl With Seven Names, All Creatures Great and Small, Voices From CHernobyl, Lessons From the Edge, and right now Life in Motion by Misty Copeland and the semi-autobiographical The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford.

7. Favourite new author. (Debut or new to you)
Joseph Conrad

8. Newest fictional crush.
Prince Myshkin? Idk, I have more korean biases than fictional.

Kdramas are hitting the feels for me, lately, more than books. Here is a list of my favorites if you're interesting:    • Ranking My First 11 Kdramas 💋  
Hotel Del Luna, a kdrama made me cry in almost every episode!

11. Book that made you happy.
My Korean textbooks seriously give me all the joy.
A Bad Business by Fyodor Dostoevsky is HYSTERICALLY FUNNY.

12. Most beautiful book you've bought so far this year (or received)
I don't usually buy books, but from the library: Korean-American by Eric Kim or A Bad Business by Fyodor Dostoevsky (pushkin press edition).

13. What books do you need to read by the end of the year?
3 versions of Faust for #Faustathon, Demons by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
