JACK'S OFF to Highway 49 again to find Chinese American History! Auburn - Vinton

Описание: Awhile back we embarked on a journey on CA Highway 49 searching for remnants of Chinatowns and Chinese history. We found a few old Chinatown buildings, along with plaques commemorating Chinese history in certain areas. The adventure was epic for a Chinese American history enthusiast like myself, but there was one problem: Highway 49 is over 300 miles long and we couldn't finish it in one day!! Last time we started off at the southern tip of the highway in Oakhurst and made it all the way up to Plymouth. This time, we will skip Plymouth - Placerville, and start from Auburn, heading all the way up to Vinton, the northern tip of Highway 49.
