We might as well keep this blade-thing going, right? First we looked at the US Army's M3 Fighting/Combat/Trench Knife from WWII. Then we thrust deep into both generations of the M4 bayonet adapted to fit the M1 Carbine.
Today, we take a stab at the versions designed for the legendary M1 Garand, including the M5, M5-1, & M5A1.
And since its so closely connected, we also discuss how the M6 for the M14 came to be too.
