The GBH BPL Studio hosts Outspoken Saturdays, a spoken word poetry event for emerging artists. Every first Saturday of the month, the series is created in collaboration with spoken word artist Amanda Shea.
Our November poets are Nicole Henley, Rafael Arturo Shabazz, Sasa Etienne, Margareth Ngueza, Ashley Abitz, Queen, AV-8, and Mike D Poet. Their performances follow a Native American Heritage Month panel discussion with IDEAS Facilitator Dr. Claudia A. Fox Tree and Lecturer in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning Jean-Luc Pierite.
