In a dramatic incident in Gachibowli, a traffic constable identified as Narasimha displayed extraordinary bravery by stopping a speeding Mercedes-Benz involved in an alleged hit-and-run.

According to reports, the control room alerted traffic police about a Benz car fleeing after a hit-and-run from Narsingi. The vehicle was reportedly being driven at high speed under the influence of alcohol. At the IIIT signal in Gachibowli, the constable halted traffic by switching the signal to red in an attempt to stop the car.

However, the driver tried to escape via the free left lane. In a daring move, the constable attempted to intercept the vehicle and ended up clinging to the car’s bonnet as it sped for nearly a kilometer. With the help of other motorists near the next signal, the vehicle was finally stopped.

The accused was taken into custody and handed over to local law and order police. The constable stated that his primary aim was to prevent danger to the public and stop a potentially fatal incident.
