These are the escalators at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, there are more escalators when you go pass security, but I hate to say this but I can’t ride those ones because we are not travelling. And security won’t let us pass if we weren’t going on the plane, so these are the only escalator I can ride if I’m not travelling anywhere :/. But we do get the moving sidewalks on the Upper Level that accesses to parking, some of these escalator handrails are kinda bumpy/shaky a little, some steps may not be the smoothest. This airport is located on the Highway 102 (About a 30 minute drive). There is only 1 ThyssenKrupp escalator & most of them are Otis. When you come into Halifax from your plane, you will see 2 escalator downs. If you enter that exit only area, you will be charged to a $5000 fine for legal entry (that area is not for entry, that’s why the escalators are moving down & yes you will see a staircases, but that doesn’t mean you can go up on it (down only as well).
