To solve this, we'd need to use the Binomial Theorem formula, which is $\binom{n}{r}a^{n-r}b^{r}$. Here, $\binom{n}{r}$ represents the binomial coefficient, which is equal to $\frac{n!}{r!(n-r)!}$.

To find the term with $x^5$, we'd need to figure out what value of $r$ corresponds to $x^5$ in the expansion. Since the power of $x$ is $n-r$, we'd set up the equation $8-r = 5$ and solve for $r$. This gives us $r = 3$, so the term we're looking for is $\binom{8}{3}x^{8-3}y^{3}$. Calculating the binomial coefficient, we get $\binom{8}{3} = \frac{8!}{3!(8-3)!} = \frac{8*7*6}{3*2*1} = 56$.

So, the term with $x^5$ is $56x^5y^3$. The key skill here is being able to quickly identify the term you're interested in and then apply the formula correctly. It looks easy, but when you're under pressure during the exam, it's easy to make mistakes.
