On May 14th this virtual event in celebration of Jewish Heritage Month. Physician, legal scholar, and author Ronald L. Eisenberg, MD, JD, PhD will discussed his book "Jews in Medicine", which explores the profound contributions of Jewish individuals in the medical field across history.
This event is presented by the American Jewish Medical Association and the American Jewish Experience in Medicine Program at the CU Center for Bioethics and Humanities.
Bio:
Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and a radiologist at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Ronald L. Eisenberg has published more than 20 books in his field of medicine. A non-practicing lawyer, he also has a doctoral degree in Jewish Studies and his 14th book relating to the history and traditions of the Jewish people is in press. Dr. Eisenberg is a frequenter contributor to the biweekly Jerusalem Report, a sister-publication of the daily Jerusalem Post.
