On Thursday 10 November 2022, the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales debated a petition presented to the Parliament by Marjorie O'Neill, Member for Coogee, on trail and adventure motorcycling in NSW.
The petition requested that the Legislative Assembly call on the Government to fund the development of a Strategic Plan for trail and adventure motorcycle riding, amend the National Parks and Wildlife policy to ensure that single track trail riding is permitted, and introduce a Recreational Registration scheme that enables better compliance with legal requirements by the trail bike communities.
If an ePetition gains 20,000 signatures, it is debated in the Chamber. Debates feature members who speak to the petition including the relevant Minister.
