Car park is over from the round about. Head towards the castle then turn left on the side road. Walk through the castle grounds turn right follow the Pennine Journy until the underpass just passed Gods Bridge. Then it is a simple walk back to Bowes following the wall around to the Satellites. Then it is straight down to Bowes.
