Lotta Dann (also known as Mrs D, and the author of best-selling memoir Mrs D is Going Without) is the Community Manager of Living Sober, an online community for those wanting to talk safely and honestly about their relationship with alcohol. In this series, Lotta interviews others about their sobriety journey.
In this episode, Lotta chats to Carmel Claridge. Carmel is a daughter, sister, partner, mother, grandmother, court coordinator... and she is sober! Carmel talks about her reckless drinking days, the disconnect between how her life looked on the outside compared with how she felt inside, the radical transformation she underwent to turn things around, and the work she does now helping people do the same at Te Kooti o Timatanga Hou/The Court of New Beginnings.
