HAVE FERRARI ALSO GOT AN ENGINE TRICK? A Look at the Proposed Changes for Starts

Описание: Last year, Ferrari supposedly blocked changes to the start procedures because they had a trick up their sleeve, much like Mercedes have. Negating much of the turbo lag to help them with the lack of MGU-H spinning the turbo up. Something that the teams were aware of when they had the regulations put before them, but it seems that only Ferrari has come up with a mitigation.

So- Does the FIA need to change things to make starts safer? Because at the minute the teams are revving the engines for a long time to make sure the turbos are spooled up- Mario Kart style.

So have Ferrari got a point? Or is this "I didn't think of this so I want it banned"? Let's have a look.
