Описание: Finding silver in Valheim can be a challenging task, especially given the harsh conditions of the biome where it spawns. However, if you know exactly where to look for it and how to look for it, it becomes a lot easier.

By now, most players know that silver is found in the mountains biome. However, what you might not know is that it only spawns in relatively flat areas of the mountain biome at an altitude of 120 meters or above.

A good way to know if you are at the correct altitude is the presence of stone golems, as these only start spawning at 125 metres. If there are no stone golems around, you can gauge your altitude by the presence of drakes and obsidian ore which require an altitude of at least 100 metres to spawn.

Once you're at the correct altitude, you can use start to hone in on silver veins by using either of these two methods:

The first and intended method is by using the wishbone, which you receive after defeating Bonemass. When equipped, the wishbone will pulse when you are within 20 meters of a buried secret. The closer you are, the faster and higher-pitched the pulses will become, helping you find the exact location of silver veins.

However, it is also possible to find silver before defeating Bonemass using a technique known as prospecting. This involves hitting the terrain with a Stagbreaker or Iron Sledge in areas where silver can spawn. If the weapon's area of effect touches a silver vein, you will see the message "too hard".

At this point, you can switch to an Iron Pickaxe or better to mine the silver directly. Just make sure you're not accidentally hitting an obsidian rock for the "too hard" prompt.
