Apni Party Additional General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah, yesterday conducted an extensive tour of the bund from Muniwar to Pushwara, traversing through key areas including TB Shah, Harnag, the rear of Government Housing Colony, new housing colony, Dagpora, Khanbal, Nandpora, Nathpora, and Pushwara. The visit aimed to assess the devastating impact of the recent floods caused by heavy rainfall in the Anantnag region.
The inspection revealed significant damage to the bund, homes, and infrastructure, including electric poles. Shah expressed deep concern over the plight of the affected communities and urged the government to take immediate action.
The party leader called for urgent repairs and rebuilding of damaged roads and bunds to prevent help them rebuilt their lives. He also appealed Adminstration to provide relief to those affected by the floods, ensuring the basic necessities and support reach them.
