We are delighted to present a new highlight of the collection: the Flieger Original from 2025 comes with its own newly developed STOWA-M1 manufacture movement! This is based on the tried-and-tested Unitas 6498-1 with central seconds conversion. The Flieger Original presents itself in a 42 mm stainless steel case with an extra matte finish. This is elaborately created by bead blasting and is an absolute eye-catcher! Its unmistakable design with characteristic details such as luminous numerals, blued hands and the striking triangle at 12 o’clock is captivating.

The movement
Many people love the daily ritual of winding the watch – the model for the new Flieger Original, the large original Flieger watch from 1940, had a Unitas movement that had already been converted to an indirectly driven central second hand and has since become a real classic! And now comes the best part: the new Flieger Original comes with its own, newly developed STOWA-M1 manufacture movement! The newly designed bridges are absolutely impressive, taking the already exceptional movement to a whole new level! The bridges feature a breathtaking, off-center stripe cut in the shape of a sunray, which emanates from the balance wheel and can be viewed through the anti-reflective sapphire crystal case back. But that's not all: the Unitas movement even has a stop-seconds function, which ensures optimum suitability for everyday use. Further visual refinement of the movement is achieved by smoothing and polishing the bridge edges.
