The ride that fondly lives up to its appointed namesake, as aptly said by the American Whitewater contributor for the "Bloomington" Section. Typically, one of the the four spring whitewater releases will get the special blessing of the extra 200cfs bump up, and on rare occasion, the long awaited extra juicy 1,500cfs boost (the maximum flow/limit for the release by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers & Mineral County Parks and Recreation). This video features four runs at 1,200cfs, which substantially levels up the bounce, fun, and technical moves on the most aggressive line, consisting of the diagonal slanted ledge half way down on the top section's center line.Do you have a favorite North Branch story?

American Whitewater and its contributor for the "Bloomington" Section, Tony Alfred, provides the following descriptive information for Robin's Nest: "Class II+, mile marker 0.51...Class II+ boulder garden, very similar to the one before it, ending with a short pool. If you're having a bad day there is a nice eddy behind a fairly large rock on river right and a trail up to the road back to the put-in, that provides an 'Easy Out' if you'd like to walk back to the put-in." - https://www.americanwhitewater.org/co...
