Born and brought up in a conventional joint family, her journey started from maintaining a journal in school as a way of writing down unsaid words to her first publicly acclaimed poem 'Mandi'.

The 'Spill poetry' poet strives to make people feel their own stories through her words and her voice. She believes writing comes naturally to her. Her notable performances that have been admired by tens of lakhs of people include "Toh Fir ye Mohabbat hin Sahin", "Krishna- Kavitaayen au Kahaniyaan", "Badlaav", among many others.
