Epilepsy Institute of New Jersey
The Epilepsy Institute of NJ is a multi-disciplinary center providing the full gamut of pediatric neurosurgery services. We specialize in surgical treatment of complex epilepsy and are one of the largest surgical epilepsy practices in the state. Our mission revolves around providing compassionate patient care through a blend of medical and surgical expertise. We believe all patients with drug resistant epilepsy deserve consultation with a surgeon to hear all the options that may help them. We aim to foster an environment where adult and pediatric patients receive cutting edge treatment and ongoing comprehensive support in their journey towards enhanced health and improved quality of life.
Dr. Luke Tomycz - the Director of the Epilepsy Institute - is a double board-certified neurosurgeon (American Board of Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery). He is also Chief of Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery at both Sanzari Children's Hospital
and the Children's Hospital of NJ at Newark Beth Israel
