In 2006, we created the Techstars Accelerator as a way to partner with founders and provide them with mentorship, network, and funding. The model proved incredibly successful.

Building a startup community is not dissimilar from building a startup. It’s highly complex, requires strong networks, leaders, and a long-term vision. We believe the same principles that cause accelerators to be so effective in helping startups can also apply to startup communities to help accelerate their growth and development.
