Krishi Darshan

Krishi Darshan saw daylight as an agriculture telecast on 26 Jan, 1967. It was inaugurated by then then Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi for the Farmer Community. The Program was telecast first with limited technical resources from a large Aakashvani hall. It was based on farmer's agriculture problems comprising of agriculture research agronomical practices animal development, fisheries, rural development and elites. All the information was provided by Agricultural Specialists through KRISHI DARSHAN.

It was telecast twice a week i.e. Wednesday and Friday, in Delhi and nearby areas with duration of 20 mins. Soon, KRISHI DARSHAN was telecast on all weekdays with duration of 30 mins at 6.30-7.00 pm IST.

The morning KRISHI DARSHAN telecast also started on a narrow telecasting system nationwide on all days except Sunday at 6.30-7.00 am IST.
