I have been an artist my entire life. I could not imagine doing anything else but being a creator. I went to art school at Arizona State University specializing in drawing. I quickly knew I wanted to be a painter so I copied all my favorite artists like Picasso, Wyeth, Frida Kahlo, Paul Gauguin, Van Gogh, and more. I eventually happened upon my style. I spent 25 years as a mural artist and faux finisher creating projects in high-end residences, restaurants, schools, and common spaces.
I was always fascinated by small things and creating small things and when miniatures were brought to my attention I knew I found the next chapter for my creative output! I will use my experience as a painter for most of the projects but learn new things that I can also incorporate into the pieces and settings I make.
