Office of Scientific and Technical Information
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) fulfills the agency’s responsibilities to collect, preserve, and disseminate scientific and technical information (STI) emanating from DOE research and development (R&D) activities. The OSTI mission is to advance science and sustain technological creativity by making R&D findings available and useful to DOE researchers and the public.
DOE conducts more than $12 billion a year in R&D, and DOE OSTI maximizes the reach and impact of these investments, both through its own search tools and through other commonly used search engines. To learn more about the resources that OSTI provides to the scientific community and the public, please visit OSTI.GOV.
